Boat Safety Scheme Certificates
In view of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the temporary extension of Boat Safety Scheme Certificates has been extended to 30th April 2020 at which time the situation will be reviewed again, taking into account government guidance.
If your Boat Safety Certificate has recently expired, a BSS examination will need to be carried out once the restrictions are lifted. Please ensure that upon completion, a valid copy of the BSS certificate is emailed to: bridgewatercanal@peel.co.uk.
Bridgewater Canal licences 2020/2021
As the Bridgewater Canal team members are now working remotely, there will be a delay in issuing hard copy licences. For all boat owners without arrears on their licence and mooring accounts, please be assured our records show that your craft is licenced.
Please note, our Enforcement team remain able to identity which craft are licenced and which are not and we will endeavour to issue the hard copy licences as soon as we are able to.
