Navigation Restrictions
Notice is hereby given that due to essential canal wall maintenance, there will be a navigation restriction between Worsley & Boothstown.
Narrowboat owners are asked to moor up while the work is in progress and wait until the contractors are able to move their pontoon to allow for safe passage. Widebeam owners will not be able to pass until the end of each working day when the contractors return their pontoon to the Marina. We ask that widebeam owners wait in the area near the marina to allow the contractors to pass safely.
The pilling work should be completed in 5 weeks, after this the restrictions will not be as restrictive. We will update this notice when we have further information.
Pleasure craft owners are advised to allow additional time for their journey. All persons in charge of pleasure craft are asked to
comply with any instructions given.
