Canal Navigation & Towpath Restrictions Runcorn – 4th November to 14th November 2025
Notice is hereby given, that due to essential Inspection work to the two Mersey Gateway Bridges crossing the canal in Runcorn there will be a width restriction of the canal in the area around the bridge.
Boaters may be asked to moor up for up to an hour while the pontoons are moved to allow safe navigation.
To maintain safety, Boaters, pedestrians & cyclists traveling in this location are asked to be vigilant and obey signs and instructions in the immediate vicinity of the works.
