Navigation Closure between Marsland Road Bridge and Seamons Moss Bridge.

Notice is hereby given that Trafford Rowing Club will be holding its annual head race event on the Bridgewater Canal between Marsland Road Bridge and Seamons Moss Bridge on Saturday 21^stFebruary 2026 between 6:30 am and 6:00 pm subject to weather conditions.

The canal will be closed to navigation between Marsland Road Bridge and Seamons Moss on Saturday 21^st February 2026 between 6:30 am and 6:00 pm although some navigation may be permitted between these times at the discretion of the event Marshals.

Pleasure craft owners are advised to allow additional time for their journey. All persons in charge of pleasure craft are asked to comply with any signs or instructions given by the Marshals stationed at either end of the course.

Any boats found to be moored at this location during this time frame may be moved for participants’ safety.
