Canal Navigation & towpath Restrictions

11th February to 11th April 2025

Notice is hereby given, that due to essential maintenance work to Patricroft Road Bridge, Eccles, Salford there will be a width restriction of the canal in the area around the bridge.

Boaters may be asked to moor up for up to an hour while the pontoons are moved to allow safe navigation.

These works are being carried out by contractors, working on behalf of Salford Council.

To maintain safety, Boaters, pedestrians & cyclists traveling in this location are asked to be vigilant and obey signs and instructions in the immediate vicinity of the works.

The Company apologises for any inconvenience caused.
